Where does the time go? Unbelievably, the summer is almost here. We wanted to get a quick update out before everyone scatters to the sunshine.
B Corp Leadership Development Day
Social Impact Advisors is celebrating 1 year as a certified B Corp! We’re excited to be presenting at the Ontario B Corp Leadership Development Day June 19th at Evergreen Brick Works. The day is for B Corps and the evening is open to all. We’d love to see you there!
New Team Member
With another year’s growth, we’re also thrilled to have a new employee to make it all possible! Sadiyah Jamal is our new Service Manager, managing our communications and administration and assisting with client engagements. Sadiyah graduated from McMaster University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Health Studies and Economics. While at McMaster, she served on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Public Interest Research Group and was a member of the McMaster Indigenous Students Community Alliance. Sadiyah came to us highly recommended for her creativity and interest in positive social impact, combined with great organization skills. We are excited to be seeing this in action! Please join us in welcoming Sadiyah. She can be reached at email@example.com.
Impact & Strategic Clarity from Innoweave
If you’re thinking about submitting an application to Innoweave’s Impact & Strategic Clarity program, or other offerings, a reminder that the deadline is Mon July 2nd. We’ve been coaching in this program for 5 years and seen great results in organizations’ ability to articulate their impact and create a clear pathway to delivering it. We’re always up for a conversation.
(We’re also coaches in the Collective Impact and Youth CI Innoweave/ Laidlaw programs, but they run on a different granting schedule. We’re looking forward to uncovering more best practices as we connect with some of you at the Youth CI Learning Circle next week).
In the Fall
And a heads up for the Fall…we’re running another session with the Sustainability Network at CSI on Oct 30th – Thinking Ahead: Making the Most of your Strategic Planning process. Stay tuned!
