They discussed what it takes to become a B Corp, what it’s like to work at a B Corp, what nonprofits can learn from the B Corp assessment, and where to look for B Corp employment opportunities.

Lynn Fergusson is a Partner and Co-found of Social Impact Advisors. She is an engaging and approachable facilitator known for gently pushing clients to higher impact. She approaches her work from a strategic and data-driven perspective, with the end in mind. Lynn also teaches an experiential course at the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University, in Strategic Philanthropy & Leadership, where she has also taught Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainability.
Dr. Kate Siklosi is the Director of Purpose-Driven Partnerships at Ian Martin and part-time Sustainable Business instructor at McMaster University. She works collaboratively with students, community partners, and clients alike to break down barriers so more people can access meaningful work. She also regularly consults and works in partnership with clients on achieving their D&I goals and improving their programs with a focus on building equity. In recognition of her leadership, Kate was named to the 2021 SIA DE&I Influencers List.
